I just heard yesterday that Katherine Hepburn rejected the Kennedy Center Honor until Reagan & Bush were out of Office-and she was blunt about the reasons for her refusal. Does anyone have any more info.about this? Did she ever get the honor? Did Clinton give her the honnor? I have always loved Katherine Hepburn, but after hearing this I love her even more!

I respect her reasons. I actually heard this from of all people Katherine Hepburn's sister who still works at the local library I go to in Canton, CT. I didn't want to push the issue because I got the feeling her sister didn't agree with her position on this. Still, to hear this from Kate's own sister is pretty amazing!
