Anyone watch Tweety the last 2 nights? |
|
for the past two evenings Tweety has been bashing Clinton (what else is new?) and blaming Clinton and not Bush (and the bulge in his pants) for 911. He said that Clinton had special relationships with the saudis and did NOTHING to prevent 911 and did not attack al queda when he had a chance to do it. Of course Tweety does not mention the Milleneum Terrorist Attacks that Clinton prevented and the fact that Clinton wanted to go after Bin Laden but the CIA said no way!
My wife and I were laughing the entire time we had the channel on HARDBALL. I mean if Tweety's ass is itching him he would probably blame Clinton. 100 years from now Clinton will be blamed for World War Four. Will blaming Clinton ever end. All Clinton ever did for this country is give it economic prosperity and for the most part world peace. When will the blame Clinton game ever end? Maybe never!
Of course Tweety does not mention that Bush could possibly be responsible for 911. Bush would never let this country down. He is too much of a patriotic man to ever do that. He is too moral to not pay attention to real threats against our country. NOT!

1. Clinton's "special relationship" with the Saudis |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-05-03 10:55 AM by Gloria
was that he asked them a few times to knock off funding suspicious groups....
the same people the Bush's do business with (isn't THAT special??) And, I suppose, picking up binLaden relatives all over the country and ferrying them out of the US when no one was supposed to be flying after 911 isn't "special."
You know, there comes a time when this stuff isn't just political crap...it's downright IRRESPONSIBLE.

Like, Clinton did a lot of things to counter terrorism. In fact if whistle ass had been doing his job pre 911 it might not have happened. Read Al Franken's new book. I documents some of Clinton's anti-terror efforts. There are more!!!!

4. The thing that bothers me about people that blame Clinton |
|
Is the simple fact that if Clinton had enough information and assets to prevent 9/11, shouldn't that suggest that Bush had the means and info to stop it?
I am tired of this "Bush is a victim" bullshit.
Victim of what? 9/11 brought Bush nothing but success, wealth, and popularity.

5. Why doesn't any talking head ask this question: |
|
If the Bush Administration is so blameless in regards to 9/11, then why wouldn't they have WELCOMED a full 9/11 Investigation rather than oppose an investigation at every point?

6. Well, I think we all remember the Millennium attacks |
|
Oh wait, there weren't any because Clinton was on the job. Eight months after being sworn in, Al Qaeda had a pretty good idea what sort of man was in the White House in September 2001, and rated their chances accordingly. They'd seen Chimpy and his penchant for secrecy, his grovelling to the Chinese after the spy plane was captured, his obsequiousness in enlisting the Russians to get the pieces of the plane back, and his innate laziness in taking a month off when he hadn't even been in the job for a year.
No, the September 11 attacks were made possible because of the lazy frat boy squatting in the Oval Office. And considering that they've pretty much gotten away with it, it looks like Al Qaeda was absolutely correct in their assessment. Chimpy's spent the two years since that awful day spinning his wheels, running his mouth, and looting the treasury, but he doesn't look to be any closer to bringing the surviving perpetrators to justice than he was the day he was running like a rabbit, trying to get out of harm's way.

7. The Repukes Are Quickly Using Up Their "Blame Clinton" cards |
|
They can try it for the entire 4 years AWOL is in office, but what if the repukes actually win and the country is still screwed in 2008? Do they think they'll still be able to ride that tired old train??

8. Blame 9-11 on Clinton? Why not? |
|
Rove puts the word out. The media whores parrot what he says, without qualifying it with facts. Bush slides home free. What's next blame the Iraqi war on Clinton? BS.
We first started watching Tweety a few years ago. At that time, he used to get a lot of insider Washington information that hadn't been reported yet. I think though now with all his Clinton bashing over the years, his sources dried up and he's no longer privy to inside information so he's had to resort to sensationalism to be cutting edge.
Bye, bye Chris. I think your days are numbered. No one buys your spin and lies anymore.

9. Tweety has been given his orders |
|
You always know when the walls are closing in - they attack Clinton. The walls I am referring to are the two stories which have broken back into mainstream media this week and prove without a doubt the Bush/bin Laden connection -
1) Richard Clark publicly stating that members of Saudi royals, as well as bin Laden family members, were flown out of the US after 9/11 when no other flights were allowed. WH had to have approved this.
2) Peter Lance's new book, "1000 Years For Revenge", which is getting big play on all the media right now - tracing the lapses in anti-terrorism back to Bush I WH/FBI and continuing into Louis Freeh's FBI.

10. The great irony is that before Clinton was another Bush |
|
This leap-frog line of argument, blaming the present on what came before, can go on ad infinitum. If Clinton is responsible for 9/11 then Bush I must be responsible for the '93 WTC bombing, which set the stage and came earlier in Clinton's term than 9/11 in Bush II's.
Actually I thought Miniter, author of "Losing bin Laden", came off very weak and unconvincing on Tweety's show, but if anyone doubts that G.E. keeps Mathews around as a spare Russert, ask why they schedule such fake journalism in the first place.

Someone yesterday posted the ratings. At 250,000 viewers Tweety was basically dead last. Maybe Oberman was below him; but Tweety is goooooing down. And again they fight over the same repuke crumbs rather than trying a different approach.
