79% .....Is the really possible?
I know, I know I am a BUJEW but is it really possible that 79% of Americans believe that Jesus was really born from the Virgin Mary with no human father?

4. Of course it's possible. He's called the Son of God.
I can't imagine any Christian believing something else. It would put a kink into the words Son of God, wouldn't it?

10. Absolutely.
However, I am the product of my parent's DNA. Christians don't believe that about Jesus. Divine intervention.

12. Myth, sci-fi and religion all have superior races breeding with humans
Imagine what would happen if we started breeding with monkeys. They'd develop religions about us.

15. I believe it
It's a core teaching of many versions of Christianity (unlike Creationism). Jesus Christ had to be both man and God in order to accomplish what he accomplished when he took upon himself the sins of the world. I don't know, obviously, what that process was, or how it happend, but I believe it did happen.

say who he was. And if he ran for public office, he'd get called a socialist.

these stats are not surprising considering 80% plus of the nation is Christian.
