Poll question: Kerik's Replacement: Your Guess?
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 11:44 PM by Jack_Dawson
NannyGate rears its ugly head again. If Lupe cleans my house once a month, does that mean I can never fill a cabinet position?

Well now that Bush has broken another horrible story LATE FRIDAY NIGHT (ahem) let's speculate about Plan B...

10. How did George Lucas know before the rest of us?
Crappy movies (at least the last couple) but dead on political prophecy, right down to business partners starting phony war.

5. I can't BELIEVE I forgot Michael Savage...so...
I put him in and moved "Other" down. It'll skew the graph somewhat, but then again not really...

7. It has to be Delay
Guliani is too smart, he knows that it would be a career ender for him, and he want's to be President. The Media guys won't do it since they would have to take an uber sever pay cut. That leave's Delay... the only person on the list that has absolutely no standards.

20. Way'at pachamama!
Found it at a website when I was searching for photos of Dachau. Someone from the UK was trying to tell me that Dachau was re-built like the other camps - nope. Just the barracks. The ovens and "showers" are just like I remembered them and the photos from 1945.

:hi:

... 4 down and 2 more papers to go. x(

But I don't think it will be Giuliani, because he's going to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court.

25. All jokes aside...
what type of person is even qualified for this position, assuming it turns into something other than Tom Rich's Bobble-head doll role??
I'm assuming it needs to be someone with organizational and political skills, and some sort of law enforcement background, in order to understand the issues of the related agencies. I can't think of a person who could fill the job, except perhaps Ray Kelly who has been around the block a few times, although I'm not sure what baggage he brings. (Leaving out every single allegation of financial improprieties or conflict of interest regarding Kerik, he clearly was not qualified for the job based on his work experience.)

If this is a real job, (as opposed to being part of a conspiracy theory establishing a Bush-Reich, as some like to conjecture), I think there's a big problem here.

30. I voted "Other" in hopes it won't be Giuliani, that insufferable,

adulterous asshat. Though I have little to no hope of Bush**olini appointing a Democrat, former Senator Sam Nunn (D-GA) would be good for the job. He was head of the Armed Service Committee or the Foreign Relations Committee, or maybe both. This was back in the days of the Old Republic, children, when serious people, not oil tycoons, ran the country.

37. Definition of asshat
asshat ass' hat (n) 1. a pair of human buttocks worn as a hat by wedging one's head between the cheeks. 2. shorthand for saying someone has their head up their ass with the added connotation of displaying this contortion in public without being aware that it invites ridicule.

etymology: Northeastern American slang, Yale University: reference to a notorious incident in which the retarded offspring of an Old Money polically prominent family barfed in the toilet at a frat party and accidentally removed the tissue toilet seat protector with his head. He then returned to the party where others laughed at his "asshat." Once sober, he wore it UNDER his clothing

33. Do you think
Bush will make the same "bipartisan" gesture he made in '00 when he nominated Mineta for Transportation Secretary?

After all, now Bush is going on about a "mandate". I would guess he'd chose a party inder...a hack.

Is there some other republican governor out there?

34. Geez, is it possible to find an even WORSE candidate than Kerik?
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 05:35 AM by njdemocrat106
Before the election, all I ever saw Bernie do was repeat the same old lies about Kerry (He's a flip-flopper! He won't protect us from terrorists!) Who's the next biggest Bush ass-kisser after Kerik? Giuliani? You don't even have to have graduated from elementary school in order to get a job in the Bush administration. Just kiss his ass, and you'll receive an overpaid job in a second.

"Hey little Jimmy!" "Hi, Mr. President! That's a neat tie you're wearing" "Thanks. How 'bout becoming my Health and Human Services Secretary?"
