Is Buy.com connected to Amazon.com?
I want to buy something over the net, but don't want to buy from Amazon because they are a "Red" company. I found the same item for the same price on Buy.com, but they're format looks a lot like Amazon's, which makes me think they are the same damn company.

Anyone know?

Thanks

1. Last I knew they were in a fierce competition with one another.
I think it was in August of this year that they and Amazon were in a book pricing war.

I don't know if Buy.com is any more blue then Amazon, but I am pretty sure they are not in bed together.

2. Sweet, thanks!
I'll buy from Buy.com then. I don't know if they are Red, but I know for a fact Amazon.com is.

6. If that's the case..
..I'm gonna have to start directing my book review readers (at Counterbias.com) to B&N rather than Amazon!

8. Oh, that's too bad.
I just placed a big order with Amazon.com. I would have bought from Barnes & Noble, but they just didn't have the product that I was looking for.

5. Barnes & Noble is a "Blue" Company
if it's a book or music you're looking for.

My friends and publishers. They sell books and stuff online but Amazon came on the scene and sucked up their customers. They advertise the strange phenomenon stuff, but they can get any kind of book from distributors.

Definitely not red. They need the business and they can get most any book that's in print.

Greenleaf Publications
