Cap Harnesses Human Thought to Move PC Cursor

Stefan Lovgren
for National Geographic News
December 7, 2004

Scientists have developed a non-invasive brain-computer interface that enables a person to move a cursor across a computer screen just by thinking about it.
The device resembles a swimming cap riddled with electrodes, which users wear against their scalp. A computer program translates electrical signals in the brain to physical outputs, which govern the movement of a computer cursor.

The technology could enable people paralyzed by spinal cord injuries and strokes, for example, to control their brain activity in order to communicate via computer or to move mechanical devices.

gift.but with one variation. I would like the cap to fit into Rove's brain and have that move Bush's arms by remote.

On Edit: I would like a better variation: I would like a cap fitiing on Rove's brain giving commands to Bush's lips to make him say Nuclear instead of nucular.

4. This reminds me of the "mind-stuff" experiment in The Magic of Believing"
by Claude Bristol. It's not a religious book as the title might lead you to believe, just the best self-help book ever written. The experiment in the beginning he has you do is amazing and proves that you can harness physical forces that are around you to enable you to accomplish just about anything you want to do. By doing his experiment, you actually can make something move or stop moving (not like a boulder or anything!). Anyway, it works. Best book I've ever read.

6. I think this is an amazing story and may 'prove' phsychic phenomena
that is yet unexplained as simply ordinary brain wave (out side of the head)
