1. are you in CA?
because, apparently, its more expensive here. When gas was 2.15 here it was 1.90 or something like that in New England.

12. $1.51 in Oklahoma City suburbs
Ranging from $1.50 to $1.59 in the more pricey parts of town. Last week it was $1.79.

I can't help but wonder if the low prices are Big Oil's thank you gift to Bush for all he's done (and is going to do) for them.

I can see the Fox screen crawl now:

"Der Fuhrer's re-election caused the price of gas to drop nationwide, thereby proving that our Fearless Leader is boosting the economy by his mere presence in the sacred and blessed Reichst- er, we mean White House"......

Clever little talking point they've invented....

Bastards.

14. Anywhere for $2.03 to $2.25 in my area...............
of western New York. It hasn't gone down a bit since oil was at $54.00 a barrel. Now it's at what........$42.00 a barrel? Prices here haven't gone down a penny. We're in New York though, the heaviest taxed gasoline in the country. Thank you Mr. Pataki.

This is just sucker job while the big raise is in the works in month or so when the OPEC production cuts kicks in. I know in one year or less gas will never drop below $2.00 here, probably never be below 2.75 in Western states.

27. Here in the Phoenix and outlying areas
prices range from $1.86 to $2.01. Yesterday my daughter and I drove in Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, and I am from Phoenix. There was a definite difference in prices here. We couldn't get over the various prices here.

30. Apparently not in Detroit
I had a limo driver there last week who told me regular unleaded is $1.69. And no, it wasn't an actual limousine but more of a fancy taxi - a big black Lincoln Somethingorother.

Me, I just paid $2.19 for super unleaded, which means the regular unleaded in my neighborhood is $1.99.

31. Only the 75 degree temperature today in San Diego allows me
to accept the discrepancy between the prices of gas here and elsewhere in the country.

At least I'm not spending money to heat my house today.
