because beheading is used in their executions.

They should get with it & join "modern times" by executing with electrocution, hanging, lethal injections or firing squad, like the USA does...

And most the same people saying this also say we should LIVE THE WORDS OF THE BIBLE...???

Yeah those words are REAL modern...

Oy.

1. I'm not sure what youa re saying here
Are you mad because some people think that beheadings are barbaric? Or are we hypocrits and barbarians because we also kill our criminals? I meant the first part seems to mock the point that we have become modern at all, and then the second part takes us to task for considering the Bible which is not modern at all.

My guess is that you would like

. . . to see Saudi Arabia and otehr nations that use beheading abandon that as a means of execution, and stop executing people.

. . . to see the United States stopping executions of people as well.

. . . to see people shut up about living the words of the Bible?

Is that correct?

I can go along with you on one and two to a certain extent, but not so much on part three.

2. Frankly, if you're gonna kill me
The last second is irrelevant. The death penalty is more barbaric
than the methods of death.

What is barbaric is imprisoning a massive population and then
expecting rape as part of the sentence. Methinks any nation using
prison as punative, rather than reformative, is barbaric.

Pot meet kettle.

4. there is a huge diff at least for now
they behead women for being raped calling it adultery, and other things we call uncivilized, whereas we goody too shoes, only send people up the river for smoking a joint because it puts a dent in the drug industries coffers, where they are raped and sometimes killed. yes we are the ivory tower of great civilization fast forwarding to medieval.
