The Letter from Ben Freedman.... which I had read some 6 months ago
in full... struck a nerve with a person in this place. Let me remind anyone who falls into this thread of a few things that may not be too self evident or apparent whilst one is on fire with the heat of emotion....

First off... many many Americans are not responsible for nor support the activities that their govt. CIA, FBI, NSA and other entities have undertaken in the name of "freedom and democracy" over the last several decades. Many activities that they have been involved in are nothing less that criminal.

Now... many many Israelis are not responsible for nor support the actions that a few in their midst have taken in the name of protection and security. Case in point. Your average Israeli had nothing to do with these actions.....

Dayan continued "Eighty percent of the incidents worked like this: We would
send tractors to plow in an area of little use, in a demilitarized zone,
knowing ahead of time that the Syrians would shoot. If they didn't start
shooting, we would tell the tractors to advance until the Syrians would get
aggravated and start shooting. We used artillery and later the air force
became involved." (Boston Globe, May 2, 1997, Israel took Golan out of
greed, Dayan says; Ex-defense chief describes tactics of a land grab)

Brent Scowcroft said and I quote, these references are to magnify the points alluded to in Ben Freedman's warning.

"Sharon just has him wrapped around his little finger," Scowcroft said. "I think the president is mesmerized." He added: "When there is a suicide attack, Sharon calls the president and says, 'I'm on the front line of terrorism,' and the president says, 'Yes, you are ...' He has been nothing but trouble."

The US officer at the heart of the Abu Ghraib prison scandal says she has evidence that Israelis helped to interrogate Iraqis at another facility.
Brig Gen Janis Karpinski told the BBC she met an Israeli working as an interrogator at a secret intelligence centre in Baghdad.

When I heard that Israel had a man working in the Pentagon as a spy, providing secret information to its powerful lobbying arm in Washington, I was surprised.
Why does Israel need a spy to steal secret information when it has several key people there already who hold top positions and can share instead of steal sensitive data?

JERUSALEM—"We don't cry, we don't shoot! To be murderers, we refuse!" Down the block from Orient House—the hub of Palestinian cultural and political activities in East Jerusalem until it was seized by Israel on August 10—Shai, 24, bangs a drum and chants. He is one of Israel's own Seattle generation of protesters. Demonstrating on August 14, along with some 300 longtime Israeli peaceniks and Palestinians from the Arab side of the city, Shai and his cadre demand the return of the building to its rightful owners, the sharing of Jerusalem, the end of the occupation. And for Shai, there is another message: draft resistance.

Thus, Israel set up government subsidized telecommunications companies which operate in the United States. One of these companies is Amdocs, which provides billing and directory assistance for 90% of the phone companies in the USA. Amdocs' main computer center for billing is actually in Israel and allows those with access to do what intelligence agencies call "traffic analysis"; a picture of someone's activities based on a pattern of who they are calling and when.

Another Israeli telecom company is Comverse Infosys, which subcontracts the installation of the automatic tapping equipment now built into every phone system in America. Comverse maintains its own connections to all this phone tapping equipment, claiming that it is merely for maintenance purposes. However, Converse has been named as the most likely source for leaked information regarding telephone calls by law enforcement that derailed several investigations into not only espionage, but drug running as well.

>>> From Who Financed Hitler: The Secret Funding of Hitler's Rise to Power 1919-1933 by James Pool and Suzanne Pool (The Dial Press, 1978), pp 111, 129:
http://www.thememoryhole.org/fordnazi.htm
"That Henry Ford, the famous automobile manufacturer gave money to the National Socialists directly or indirectly has never been disputed," said Konrad Heiden, one of the first biographers of Hitler.<87> Novelist Upton Sinclair wrote in The Flivver King, a book about Ford, that the Nazis got forty-thousand dollars from Ford to reprint anti-Jewish pamphlets in German translations, and that an additional $300,00 was later sent to Hitler through a grandson of the ex-Kaiser who acted as an intermediary.<88> The US Ambassador to Germany, William E. Dodd, said in an interview that "certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy."<89> At the time of Dodd's criticisms, the general public was aware that he was speaking of Ford because the press made a direct association between Dodd's statements and other reports of Ford's anti-Semitism.

So you see.... there is more to things than meets the eye... why was Henry Ford an anti-semite?? I don't know. Why do people hate each other?? I don't know. If you try to use the old adage that they have hated each other since the early days of the Bible well, that might work for the Arab states and Israel... but what about Henry Ford?? I just don't get it. I hope this compilation paints a clearer picture about what is going on... and who is behind some of it.

I fault no Israeli for what their government, the Mossad, or any other Israeli entity does.... finally the boys in D.C. are learning that in order to kill all the mosquitos... you first have to drain the swamp... you have to understand what is the source of the hatred, distrust, animosity, etc etc... you can't just go around like a lump of coal and flatly state that "They hate us for our freedom".
