Tom DeLay just says: Howard Dean is Temperamentally Unfit to be in the WH!
Edited on Fri Sep-05-03 03:24 PM by KoKo01
Caught the end of Judy Woodruff interview with DeLay where he says: " Compare Dean to our President who is 'classy and cultivated' and you can see who you would really want to be there. DeLay says: "Dean rants and raves and and doesn't have the temperament to be there." ("Lizard Eyes" smiled his most Grinchlike smile as he said it....and Woodruff didn't say a word.)

I didn't catch the whole interview, which is a good thing because I almost lost my TV when I saw that. Luckily I didn't have anything to throw or I would have.

Can anyone believe this? I'm speechless.

So, there is no way that they could be that bad. And even if his medical school grades were average (and I don't have a clue if they were, although a poster above says he flew through med school in 3 years), that is still extremely impressive, IMHO. Not many people have the brains to get through med school.

Edited on Fri Sep-05-03 03:33 PM by KoKo01
didn't stick........now he's a rude, arm waving, (DeLay said this, but I don't have the sentence to put the quote in because my mind couldn't believe what I was hearing....but it's coming back to me).

Anyway, they keep throwing stuff at Dean and none of it works....he keeps getting more money and more support. So now he's a rude arm waving irrational candidate......compared to the stuttering, stammering, Chimp who carries on about Kill, Kill, Kill, and Terraists and Nuculer.......and has wrecked our whole country in just over two years, cost us approval around the world with his antics and Delay thinks this guy has Class?

He wouldn't know Class because he's a piece of trash who spent too much time with the bug spray and it fried his brain!

the Republican miscreants in the House and Senate. Calmly and carefully reveal their temperaments and actions to the American people -- and so run not just against Bush-Cheney, but the whole sordid mass of Reich-wing insanity now despoiling our nation.

We need a leader. This is an opportunity to step up to the plate and tell it how it is.

Earlier in the week, he went after Dean because of Dean's attacks on Ashcroft. Dean's campaign responded within the hour, re-posted the petition against Ashcroft, and meet up #'s soared.

You're right- if Dean directs the focus of his attacks onto ALL the rabid right wing ideologues collectively, his response works.

He was on FOX today too. I guess no one else wants the thankless task of trying to defend the "miserable failure." "Our president....classy and cultivated..?" Bush is classy and culivated? In what universe? Certainly, not this one. Bush can hardly speak English. Watch the beltway whores regarding this remark, or rather yet, observe how they will ignore it all together. Imagine if a Democrat were to say this about Clinton. They would be all over it, like stink on shit. Aside from the double standard, who in the hell could possibly use the terms classy, cultivated and Bush in the same sentence? 59. watch him when he reacts to something he doesn't agree with
and see the fur go up, the face redden. And he's TRYING to control himself at those times.

Having said that, there ARE times when a prez needs to show anger/distane for effect and in the proper perspective.

If you can't do that you have a real problem sitting across the table from other world leaders who CAN do it. They'll make you look foolish despite the skills of your handlers.

Its a lot like Bush. Its interesting looking at the similarities between these two guys, obviously not on issues, on how they behave as people.

You can decide which end I'm speakng out of. This point is clearly a subjective one. I've heard other things that would make this case more clear but I have no personal knowledge to corroborate them so I leave that out of the mix.

64. I saw that interview, and I
was so shocked at these words that I wrote them down. Tom Delay actually said: "Finally, we have a pResident that has brought class and culture to the White House". I just about threw up. And just notice the bad grammar: "pResident that" instead of "pResident who". But he is right about bush* being a "that". Yuk!

You wanna talk about class, go back to the days of Jack and Jackie Kennedy. Now, there was class.

68. Delay abuses his power - he should STFU!
We should calculate and bill him for the resources used when the TX Dems were on the lam.

I wouldn't even hire him to kill roaches...

69. Peanut butter
Any president who introduces PB&J sandwiches to the White House menu is SO amazingly classy and cultivated! Can't you see that?
