Are the investors in Murdoch's News Corp. publicly available? |
|
On "The Majority Report" radio show tonight on Air America, Atrios said that Bill O'Reilly claims the list of invstors in Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., which owns Fox News, is publicly available.
Atrios said that O'Reilly is wrong and it's not publicly available.
Is there any truth to O'Reilly's statemnt? Are the biggest investors in News Corp. known?

1. Perhaps O'Really was referring to the Inaugural Ball invitation list. |

3. Since it is a publicly traded company the identity of major shareholders |
|
is public information. However, the largest shareholder of News Corp is the AE Harris Trust and information about the trust is not public information. Major shareholders are those owning 5% or more of the company and are listed at these links. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=NWShttp://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=NWSa
