so, explain to me what we're going to do about the state of Dem Leadership |
|
let me see if i have this right....
Al From, and the DLC, who claim to be our leaders, are telling us that we need to move to the center. they're ignoring the center's effects on Tom Daschle, conveniently. Simultaneously, they have the gall to call Michael Moore 'UnAmerican', and accuse him of turning off voters.
this is our leadership. They have made it their mission to move us to the center, and have refused to look at the long term ramifications. What does this mean for the future of the Democratic party? What do you think is going to become of us?

1. We tell out 'leadership' to either shape up or ship out, plain and simple. |
|
We don't vote for them, they're screwed. And our first step is we HAVE GOT TO FIND SOME DECENT DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES, not these tired quisling pieces of shit we have now.
Al From needs to be put in his place. He's represening the people, we don't need him. We need a replacement for all these jackals.
Howard Dean, even though I didn't want him for president (but sure as hell would have voted for him if he had won the primaries) was the best man for the job.

but something is inherently wrong when our party leadership is decided behind closed doors, in deals made with repubs. He could never have one, he represents a wing of the party that has too much spine.

Just because they put "leadership" in their name doesn't make it so. :)

3. as long as they think they own the party |
|
they're name will be irrelevant. as long as they make deals with the repubs who abuse them, all that will matter is that they and their ilk are shipwrecking our party.

5. Sure. But how much control do they have in the party? |
|
I think they're being marginalized...?
I don't know. I guess we have to wait and see.
