A-Hole on Olbermann wants Kerik back...
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 08:12 PM by Postman
Washington Post writer (Peter Carlson)

because Washington is "a boring town"

What an ass.

I guess all the lies about war, weapons, CIA agents being exposed is not exciting enough for this schmuck.

1. I agree with him. Bring back Kerik.
Kerik is a known quantity now, and a very corrupt one. Few things could damage the credibility of the republican party more than Kerik's nomination in spite of his past.

From another angle, I can't imagine Bush nominating anyone more palatable to us than Kerik. All that happens in the wake of this unmasking is they become a little more thorough about background checking before announcing a choice. There are plenty of fascists with clean police records.

2. Boy, that was fast!
I just barely caught the segment, and here's your thread.

By the way, what really made me mad was Carlson's suggestion that Arnold Schwarzenegger "would be great" in the DHS secretary position. I hope he was kidding, but given the Post's fawning coverage of Arschloch Nummer Eins, he may not have been.

3. He wrote an article about it in today's Post
Actually, he made some good points:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A62072-2004Dec13?language=printer

This so-called "administration" has pretty much killed any life or even sense of style that existed with other administrations. There is absolutely no thought given to cultural events at the White House or anything coming even slightly close to those dreaded "arts" so valued by liberals.

5. What about an Arnold Schwartzenegger film festival?
That would zoom them right to the top of the cultural pantheon.

10. Well, hell, I thought he was joking--
I didn't read the article.

Okay--so let me get this straight-the WH knew ALL of this. Did they really believe they had that much power and clout to get this mobbed-up, serial cheating, lying asshole confirmed? Wait-don't answer that. I do NOT want to know the answer.
