American Tort Reform Association: Sponsorship/Membership list
In case you were wondering about who was putting up the money for the tort reform movement, look no further.

Conspicuously absent from the list is any sort of consumer watchdog or advocacy organization. Go figure!

American Association of Neurological Surgeons
American Blood Centers
American College of Surgeons
American Medical Association
3M Corporation
Anheuser Busch Companies
Baxter
Boeing

Kraft Foods
National Association of Home Builders
New York Life Insurance
Pfizer
Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America
Physician Insurers Association of America

State Farm

1. I am going to have to make some changes...
I will have to sell my car, stop eating cheese, can't tape anything shut, stop flying, since I will be selling my car, I wont need to wax it and I will have to find a better beer.

2. "City of New York Law Department???"

I'm a city worker (library)--isn't that like the library belonging to The American Book-Burning Council?

At the least, isn't it a tremendous conflict of interest?
