DUPE SORRY Ipsos-Reid: Bush Approval Down to 52%

Ipsos-Reid/Cook Political Report Poll. Sept. 2-4, 2003. N=766 registered voters nationwide. MoE ± 3.6.

"Overall, do you approve, disapprove or have mixed feelings about the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?" If "mixed feelings" or not sure: "If you had to choose, do you lean more toward approve or disapprove?"

Approve 52%
Disapprove 45%
Mixed Feelings 2%
Not Sure 1%

"If the election were held today, would you definitely vote to reelect George W. Bush as president, consider voting for someone else, or definitely vote for someone else as president?"

Definitely Bush 38%
Consider Someone Else 24%
Vote for Someone Else 36%
Not Sure 2%

The polling companies probably can't let him go below 50% approval for "national security" reasons.

Corporations are playing the odd's and looking to the possibility that Bush can be defeated and so they are promoting Kerry over Dean.
