7. Well, actually, in Rhode Island I voted straight R on local races, but |
|
RI is special case.
If you are interested, there is even a book about Buddy Cianci, the former Mayor of Providence, that sheds some light on RI politics. And, by the way, Buddy is just about the most lovable politician I have ever seen. I wonder how he is doing in prison.

I'm not the biggest Lieberman fan, to say the least, but you gotta admit he's better than a pedophile Repub. :puke:

whichever one comes out on top except for you-know-who. Gephart was impressive. I didn't get to see the debate but from DU posts I have been able to get the gist of what went on.

Joe got boo'ed in the hallway going from the debate. Anyone else know anything about this? I think he should drop out and content himself with being a senator.

17. hhhmmm, i wonder if geppie was thinking that during the rose garden |
|
photo op when he and leiberman went back door around the rest of the dems. to hand the keys to war to whistle-ass? looked like some serious 'standing shoulder-to-shoulder' with the chimp to me...
wonderful rhetoric, but not much more.
gep needs to face his miserable failures as house minority leader and opposition to the chimp. still can't figure out why this guy thinks he's got what it takes to lead this country when he can't lead an opposition party.

who joined Bush in the Iraq War resolution...
Why single out Gephardt?
How about singling out neo conservatives (sic) like Tom Harkin...

|
it's about a guy who could've done the right thing many months ago, and chose political expediency instead and now act full of bluster.
i got no patience for bush enablers.
he wore a very tatseful tie to the photo op, tho.

would have voted against Iraq War 2 because if you are going to wage a preemptive war I want definitive proof which was lacking....
That being said if Gep or any of the "pro-war" candidates have the best chance of beating * I will support him...
