my prediction on Bush speech
I believe the intent is to rally Americans to accept the sacrifice necessary to install democracy in the Middle East. He may lay out the costs more thoroughly, in order to get out in front of that criticism. There will be a lot of talk about progress in Iraq.

Convincing the American people to continue supporting the war will fend off wider criticism and restore his tefloncy.

There may even be some oblique criticism of Dems. "I know this is a political season. And I know that some politicians will try to run down our soldiers and our efforts to bring peace in Iraq. And I know that some people just hate peace and favor allowing terrorists to stop our progress."

And then there will be the "We. will. not. falter. We. will. not. fail."

7. There will be job growth.
Job growth in the US will be officially postponed in order to fix the middle east. Jobs will be posted in Bagdad for those interested.

So, sit down and shut up and get your wallet out.

9. He will also say...
That every nation has a responsibility to help rebuild Iraq. Especially after the UN was bombed, it is more obvious than ever. We have asked the UN to assist us in the task of building a democracy in the Middle East but some are hesitating helping us. They need to put their differences behind and do the right thing...

11. Whether using prompter or earphone, lots of ill-placed pauses.
He delivers his speeches like someone dictating to a stenographer-in-training. Also what kind of backdrop will he use? Blown up photo of WTC? Naw - tryin to get away from that EPA advisory on air quality that James Connaughton, in his infinite, former-lawyer-for-asbestos -manufacurers wisdom, currently Bush's number one enivoronmental advisor on White House staff, turned into a lethally lying announcement.

Although I don't think he is going to say that exactly,
he will set the stage for such a thing.
PERRRFECT- America is at 6.1 unemployment-

and don't forget, the PNAC fully intends to
invade IRAN and NORTH KOREA-
They HAVE to draft.
There is no other way.
It is only a matter of time.

I have followed the author's work for years- it is always correct

as the result of sound and impeccable research and deductions there of.

21. I agree.
With you, and the article - he has some very good points.

I strongly believe that a national service draft of some sort will come up. The very fact that everyone denies it shows that there is some serious consideration of it.

How often have we all seen the progression? First, the powers that be deny that anyone is even considering an idea. Then, they say it isn't time yet. And eventually, bowing to the "will of the people" (sarcasm here!) they put it in place.

I like your falter and fail with dramatic pauses.

OH, I forgot the energy crisis. That's what he wants. We have to pass an energy bill WITH ANWR hidden inside it.

18. I've gotta feeling...
My gut is sending bad signals...

I think this might be an announcement of a WMD "find" or he might be screwing with us (what's new, eh?) and might actually be an announcement that he ordered the bombing of the Yong`byon plant. :wow: :scared:

Something isn't right. Maybe it's just bad chili.
