This Begala brilliant response on today's Crossfire deserves a thread. It was uttered in response to the old meme: "attacking W is bad" spewed by a young woman (student) who pretended to have watched the Dem debate: "All they did was attack bush - this seemed to be their platform - only attack!"
"So what did you expect them to do? Praise him? They are Democrats. They are running against him. Get a clue young lady, this is politics" then he went on to differentiate this from what GOP did to Clinton.
It was simple, it was needed - because all the press is telling people that "Dems have nothing to offer but negativity"
It was satisfying.
