Question re: Sirus radio and AAR
how often does AAR or talk left get interrupted by sports.

the info I've been reading (considering whether to get Sirius or XM) on Sirius says that these two stations (and others) can be interrupted to broadcast a sporting event, like NFL, etc.

Anyone have experience with this??

2. It happened a lot in the two months before the presidential election
I called them about it because they don't interrupt all stations--and even if the interruptions are on weekends, that's often when I get to hear lots of stuff I missed during the week. I may go with XM next year even if they do cut randi short by one hour daily.

5. it's only been on weekends
& when aar is running repeats. if they're running one of the few weekend live shows, those haven't been interrupted. they do the same thing on radio left.

it hasn't bothered me at all & i like having 2 channels to listen to, esp. when aar is running repeats of al franken & i can switch to radio left to listen to thom hartmann.
