BTW: Way back in another life I had the distinct pleasure of floating an idea by some big wigs in person. In some eras and cultures, most respectable menhad long hair. If I understand the origin of the prestigue of men's short hair, it was because short hair and a clean shave meant that you could afford to go to the barber often. It is in the same category as long finger nails for women and tans for Caucasions in colder climates. I know that today long hair on men is usually consider some kind of statement. Wasn't the U.S. founded on freedom. Why should we be a bunch of conformists?
