McCain, Lott, Wm Kristol attacking Rumsfeld |
I guess losing the war, and then insulting the troops who need armor, was too much even for Republicans - McCain, Lott and Kristol say they have no confidence in Rumsfeld anymore. http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&ncl=http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/10435523.htm

10. No link but I can explain |
It was for the Young Journalists program, and I took the subway down to DC this morning. We each got to ask one question, and I asked about how being a veteran affects his votes. He made what i hope was a Freudian slip when he said there was only two Vietnam Vets in the senate, him and McCain but someone was like what about Kerry, he was like oh yeah Kerry, I hope he did that on purpose because maybe he secretly wishes Kerry were president and thus technically not a senator. He was pretty good I thought because he said he wouldn't vote for the FMA, and he also takes a lot of heat from other republicans for not being a total lock step Bush supporter.

2. Perhaps this will be the start of something. |
I know Rumsfeld would be replaced by someone equally bad, but I would consider it progress each time a member of the Bush administration is removed.

5. Too little and WAY too late...Where were these bozos before the election? |
Other than being good GOP soldiers. If they want Rummy gone, it'll probably happen. But there'll for sure be some new stooge waiting in the wings.

Rummy is old and more and more people are realizing he's undead. This way, they can blame all the problems on him AND put a fresh new cyborg face(Think Shepard Smith) on their genocide.
