What a great closing statement. And he seemed to be choking back his emotions. I will miss him greatly.

That segment on the media consolidation in the hands of conservatives was powerful. Same stuff we talk about on DU all the time, but it's terrific to get it out there on the airwaves. It is humbling to see how weak we have become in the face of this. 41% of those surveyed the week before the election still believed the right wing media rhetoric that Saddam was responsible for 9/11. We must shore up everything we have and fight this fight.

I just have a visceral reaction to Hannity. Rush, Vigourie (sp?) and all those others who have no scruple in lying, cheating and soiling my beloved Constitution. My gag threshold is about three seconds

Check the transcript when it becomes available. On tonight's show Moyers compared the Bush Regime to Hitler. It was in the beginning of the show and he phrased it as only Moyers can.
