Sound quality is comparable (advantage no one)
XM recently removed the ads from their music streams, to match Sirius IIRC (advantage no one)
XM part owned by ClearChannel... yuck (advantage Sirius)
Sirius has 3 NPR, 1 CSPAN, 1 BBC (advantage Sirius)
Sirius carries the full programming day of AAR, XM only has partial AAR (big advantage Sirius)
Sirius has a dedicated GLBT talk stream... more lefty cred (advantage Sirius)
XM is $3/mo cheaper (advantage XM)
Sirius is currently the underdog with fewer subscribers. Support the underdog, 'cause you know what will happen to price and quality when there is only one supplier of satellite radio!
