Yes, just as suprising as the homosexual group for Bush. As far as I know, you can count this group's membership with just two hands. Better yet, they have a forum... with a few posts... by a few members. I especially love the article, "Bush embraced by MUSLIMNESS." I'm sorry, I didn't know "Muslimness" was a word -- and apparently the Washington Report on Middle Eastern Affairs didn't pick up on this either.

That was posted in another thread here, but I don't have the link to it handy. The fact that a large number of respondents, (if we can trust the poll) in this country could think like that is alarming and foreboding for us all.

While bigots are a dime a dozen and intolerance is nothing new, we certainly can thank the media and Bush Administration for inducing and encouraging this type of behavior.

Without "liberty and justice for ALL" we don't have a Democracy or a free society in any respect. No sir.

5. These folks are real... I know people that have met them.

The people behind this group is a wealthy "Muslim" family in SoCal. The parents had reportedly donated one million dollars to the Bush campaign. Ali/Amna Hasan are Mommy and Daddy's lovely little twenty-something children -- Ali's been on Dennis Miller (last month I believe), perhaps O'Reilly, and some other shows. Asma has published at least a couple dumbed down books on Islam -- take a look and you'll quickly realize her intended audience seems to be bubble-gum blowing, Britney Spears, YM-magazine type ditzy teenage girls.

But rest assured, this group is the laughing stock of the Muslim community. I hear they were at an ISNA convention (Islamic Society of North America) recently and couldn't hold their own for a minute.

Yes, the "Jews for Hitler" image popped into my head too.
