What is up with the '04 Christmas cards?
Early in the season I searched 6 stores before finding Christmas cards that say "Peace" or "Peace on Earth" and then it was inside the card on old store stock. I even tried the religious supply stores.

None of the cards we have received this year mention anything in regards to peace or goodwill toward man. It's so terribly sad.

Has anyone else noticed this?

1. Maybe in your area
but my boss got a card for the company that said something about peace. And I got a card about peace for Jerusalem in the mail.

3. Peace is un-American
{{it is our duty to inform you that you have been reported to your local Homeland Security office. Please remain where you are, one of our agents will pick you up shortly. We also request a comprehensive list of who received the un-American Liberal-mas cards from you, so we may intercept them before your subversive message upsets any good, wholesome, God-fearing, peace-hating, faggot-bashing Americans.}}

5. I only sent out "Happy Holiday" cards and "Peace on Earth"
cards. I also sent out several Merry Solstice cards.

Found the "Peace on Earth" cards at a local store.

7. that's too bad,,,,, I make our Christmas cards and
they all say "Peace" in some form or another,,,,
they did last year too.

Unfortunately, I'll probably need to make more of the same next year.

8. See if there's a UNICEF store in your area
or try to get hold of the UNICEF catalogue.

They not only have peace-themed greeting cards but you can be assured that the proceeds go to fund child welfare programs around the world. If there are children on your shopping list, you can also buy multi-cultural themed books and toys there.

9. Excellent idea! I'm writing a note
on next year's calendar.

Do you remember Trick or Treat for UNICEF? The church ladies used to drive us around on Oct 30th to collect coins in tiny orange boxes for UNICEF.

11. I don't know about anyone else but
most of my free time this year has been spent taking care of recuperating elderly parents. I have a very large extended family and it takes hours to make my own.

Unfortunately, most of the older relatives on my list don't use computers so Ecards were out. They would have been disappointed not to receive a card from us and it's such a small thing that lets them know they are loved.
