1. Ditto...
I've never seen a group of politicians carve each other up without mercy and seem so polite and civil at the time...must be the tradition of theatre that's bred into them...

4. They always start off.."May I say in reply to the honorable gentleman"...
and then they carve them a new one with the same civil tone...I was in London in 1992 and visited the House Of Commons chamber but the PM was not there, they were debating some bill with just the back-benchers in attendance...

3. Used to be must-see TV for me
But now, I can't stand the sight of Tony Blair as much as I can't stand Shrub -- so another pleasure gone.

5. I never miss it but it lights my fuse when they laugh. Nothing they
discuss is funny and their one-up-manship bullshit laughter bothers me tremendously.

6. "It is obvious that the Earl of Devon is a twit"
They say stuff like that all the time, I wish that we had that here.

7. I wish our Congress was like that
That would be so entertaining and I think CSPAN would get better ratings. I mean, wouldn't any of you like to see our Senators and Congresspeople attacking eachother nastily? That would rock!
