Could We Have an Economic Downturn due to atheism? |
|
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 08:28 AM by AliciaKeyedUp
You know, we all of these people not wanting to celebrate the season of giving and all that is good with Christmas, wouldn't it be ironic if the atheists caused an economic downturn?
As an aside, personally, I'm sick of people trying to blame everything on religion here.

1. But that's what's great about America |

You don't have to celebrate Christmas if you don't want to ... for now.
Oh, and by the way, according to Fox News, 90 percent of Americans are Christian. Take out Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc., and I'm afraid there just aren't enough atheists to wreck the economy.

3. I wasn't blaming religion. I am religious. |

I just thought it would be funny if people really started practicing religion in its truest sense. It would be horrible for the commercial economy.
