If not Bush for Person of the Year, then who???
Remember, this is NOT an honour, this is the person with the most impact, which I can honestly say, the one person who's impacted my life the most this year would be Caligula Bush.

10. Let's just steer this country right off the cliff and go with...
Paris Hilton, she is the new face of conspicuous consumption, wanton capitalism, ego worship, and the Repuke attitude of "I got mine, hands off, fuck you, you try to go out and get yours" She is the poster child of everything wrong with this nation.

Time to actually participate in hard hitting journalism...but alas that is not the case.

16. Electronic Voting Machines
A few years back Time gave the award to "The Personal Computer"

In keeping with that tradition, I nominate the Electronic Voting Machine.

It seems more appropriate to give the award to the machines that stole the election than to the man who would have lost it.

24. The Interpreter on the Ukranian News
Letting the deaf know that what they were hearing is not true and that this is election fraud. She's the person of the year in a year where in the U.S. it has been confirmed the people have lost their media in a world where they're only to be consumers of whatever junk is given to them.

31. Ditto...give the honor to the Ukrainians...
...am going to cancel Time subscription--but NOT ONLY because of B* on cover as Person of the Year.

Cancelling it because of B* on cover COMBINED with non-coverage of election aftermath in America, while doing a great job in Ukraine.

Too bad, I like having a general newsmagazine around the house that everyone can read. But will be getting news and commentary from new sources from now on. I feel a certain sadness that we must give up on Time. But I'm sure the conservative readership they are courting will more than make up for the loss of us.

Time to move on.

30. *sigh*
It is an "honour"...now.
In 2001, who would you say had the most impact on the world? Bush? bin Laden?
Hell no! It was shack-up-with-your-mistress-in-the-Mayor's-house Rudy Giuliani!
Since that point, when TIME went with Rudy instead of the obvious, chilling choice (a decision I think was ONLY made to save their subscriptions.) the whole "Person of the Year" thing has becoma a pile of crap. Look how little media time "The Whistleblowers" got in 2002. when they received the POTY award.
Seriously, did Rudy Giuliani have the most impact on the world in 2001?

TIME is a load of crap now.
