So, like, how many
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 05:15 PM by Q3JR4
government agencies do you think are very interested in what we talk about on DU?

We're supposed to have the freedom to question the government without worry about retribution, but I do wonder about that.

3. I don't give a shit
I admit I am pretty moderate, particularly for Democratic Underground. So that might play into it.

4. I'm not moderate in my criticisms and beliefs and the
specter of someone linking everything I write with who I am still doesn't temper my words.

On the same vein, I do wonder if someone is out there looking at the board and jotting down the names of dissenters. If so, things have really changed from the "free" society this is supposed to be.

6. ...that's certainly possible
...but I think the way to combat that is to relax some of the (rather draconian) message borad rules - and really allow free information exchange.

5. I wonder too
I was about to reply to a post earlier today and say something about political activism, and then I stopped to think. I just don't know, now, what I might say today that might get used against me somehow in the future. Or even misconstrued and used in the near term. I've never thought of myself as paranoid before (nor had any reason to), but all of a sudden I am afraid that my "thinking outloud" and speculating could draw unwanted and unwarranted attention to myself.

7. Fuck em
they are bringing my country down.
I hate the bastards and predict that after the revolution, they will rot in jail.
With a big guy that likes to rape them.
Come and get me, you fascist assholes.
