Randi Rhodes on 2000 election...
Can anyone can help me out. I keep hearing Randi say that a collection of newspapers counted the Florida ballots from the 2000 election. She claims that of 9 senarios they used to count the ballots that Shrub* lost 6 of them. I am having trouble finding that information online. I got into it a little bit this weekend with a right winger, and I would like to know the truth. The right winger claims basically the opposite and that there was voter fraud on the part of democrats. Thanks for your help.
Kevin.

1. It's in Al Franken's book, "Lies and the Lying Liars"
A headline like "Gore Won Under Any Standard" is misused by Ann Coulter, Franken says.

2. Randi is correct
Of course this doesn't even take into account the proven disenfranchisement of black voters and the butterfly ballot. Your RW friend needs to read the entire article.

6. a good source...remember, the results were supposed to be released
9-12-01......they were held back after 9-11 and for a while weren't going to be released at all 'so pre 9-11' ..... then they were held back longer (some said to fix) and then released, as this source shows with false headlines and true info (Gore won) buried inside
