6. Here you go...
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=1&u=/ap/20041221/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush
Polls show an erosion in Americans' confidence that a stable, democratic government will be established in Iraq. "Polls change. Polls go up, polls go down," Bush said.

He said he understands why Americans have doubts about Iraq's ability. "They're looking on your TV screen and seeing indiscriminate bombings, where thousands of innocent — or hundreds of innocent Iraqis are getting killed ..."

Probably on the WH website as well, but eeeewwww...
You know what I mean. I don't like to soil my cache. :eyes:

3. Strange, at first I thought he was talking about
Shock 'N Awe. But he's referring to IED's (he thinks), isn't he?

4. I found that striking during the goofball's press conference as well...
I guess he distinguishes somehow between whose bombs do the indiscriminate killing. I don't.

That didn't even occur to me. Those are almost never indiscriminate. The ones that kill civilians are intentional assymetric warfare, that is discriminate.

We're not supposed to kill civilians and yet we drop cluster bombs on hospitals and weddings. That's indiscriminate. We say we never kill civilians when we can avoid it, and yet the tactics used in fallujah totally disprove this. We lobbed grenades into homes, shot randomly around corners, gunned down all men of fighting age, and this after we told them that they could stay at home and would be safe. That is worse than indiscriminate. It's nearly genocide.

9. Isn't "If it's got a pulse, kill it" broader even than genocide?
From what I've heard they were using IR to spot warm bodies and then blowing them up.
