Distant Early Warning. BEWARE Sunday Night and the rest of this week.....
I'm a little surprised there is not more alarm about Sunday Night than has been expressed here on DU.....

I am very concerned about what this idiot is going to say or do on Sunday Night.....A thirteen to eighteen minute speech from him means big trouble.....

The way I see it, things are beginning to slowly cruble around the BFEE, and they know it.....

I have maintained my own personal view since 9/11 that these people are NEVER going to give up power willingly, or go quietly without trying to subvert the lawful process of government.....These are absolutely the most corrupt and morally bankrupt people that have EVER inhabited our government....Period....I grew up during Watergate, The things they have done have made Watergate look like cheating on a Math Test.....These are DANGEROUS people, and when dangerous people get desperate, BAD things happen.....

And after all, it is September, and it is time for them to roll out a new "product".....

This may be the week where we find out if we have truly lost our country to these these thugs.....

I look at what they've accomplished thusfar, without having to get really forceful and obvious.....Just exactly what does everyone think they are going to do if they find themselves cornered.....

You say you want a Revolution?.....

That may be what it takes to get rid of these people.....

I know, I know, perhaps a bit of over dramatic thinking, but after feeling like you are living a parallell to the late 1930's for 2 1/2 years, one gets a little anxious.....

I am very concerned.....

Very concerned indeed....

4. This much I know......
I suppose my concern is also for the rest of the week.....

We do have the 2nd Anniversary of 9/11 coming up, and they are already shouting "OHMYGODLOOKOVERTHEREAT THE TERRORISTS!!!!!!" with new "threat warnings".....

They have been quietly floating the David Kay nonsense for motnhs.....

Perhaps I am feeling a bit to antsy about everything, but if there isone thing we ALL have learned over the past 2 1/2 years, is DON'T underestimate these people.....

I, like many other people, are wondering what their new "product" will be....

The one thing I hope we DON'T hear Sunday Night is "Lookie here....Davey Boy's been pokin' around and we found 'em!!!!! Ya'll can re-elect me now".....

5. According to David Gergen, on CNN, the president has to buy time with this
speech, hopefully 6 to 8 months.

He may invoke candor and say things like::: "Its much harder than we thought/expected. But we cannot pull out. Unless the UN comes to bail our asses outta the sling, we may have to up the ante and put in more troops."""

We got no clue but David sez its Time the Prez is buying.

I guess its time for a miricle...

the miricle they hoping for, another 9/11 perhaps, who knows.

Good God, whatever happened to Sanity and Reason?? Weren't they due back from vacation??

9. That will have to be a hell of a speech.
* can't get that much traction from it unless he really pulls a tall one out of his *ss. Could he be doing this for the benefit of Europe's Monday headlines?

3. I don't trust them either.
I will be looking carefully for any clues as to what may really be happening. Words are meaningless. There isn't any reason to believe anything that is said by them. But one must try to figure out from the words what is being covered up.

what they don't say as well as what they do say.

7. Sunday Morning Clues
Condi and powell will be on Sunday AM talk shows, shilling for the pResident. They will more than likely:

a. Tip their hand about the topics of the speech, or
b. Set up a straw man for the pResident to shoot down.

watch closely

listen carefully

btw: I wouldn't trust any of these alpha-hotels any farther than I could throw them.

8. Exactly.....
For the first time since I can remember, these guys are VULNERABLE.....

The new Jobs report out today is really bad for Bush, and if you look at the past two weeks, the cracks in the armor are FINALLY becoming noticeable.....

like I said, I have felt for a very long time these guys are not going to go quietly, and we should never let ourselves become complacent or feel that the democratic priocess is going to go on as scheduled.....

I was listening to Malloy last night, and he was speaking with one of the Texas 11.....After listening to that interview and the talks that Mike got into about BBV last night, I am becoming absolutely convinced that they do NOT plan to relinquish power lawfully or peacefully.....

Things may turn out OK for us in the end, but what we need to be aware of is that a fair and free democratic process is not what is being planned.....

They are GOING to try and steal it again.....

Bank on it....

The current administration strikes me as people who would be willing to try almost anything to stay in power.....We have seen plenty of evidence to that effect over the past 2 1/2 years.....

So the logical conclusion we must all keep with ourselves, is if they truly are willing to stop at alomst nothing, and have exhibited as such through their behavior and poliies.....

Why wouldn't they?.....

10. Sign me up - I have been telling people the same thing
4 months also - these rat bastards will not willingly give up power....look @ what they had 2 do 2 get it! They couldn't get Clinton out, they knew Gore would win so they had 2 lie, cheat 'n steal. After all that work, they R not going 2 let some constitutionally mandated election stop their 8 yr delayed power sweep. Something is coming - U can B sure of that! The ole rovian 'October surprize'! I shudder 2 imagine what it will B. 3000 people in the World Trade Center didn't even rate a blink of the eye.

11. I say it again
Every time their ass is in a sling they trot out the black members of the administration on Sunday morning because they know the press will not try to nail them. And Condi gets to keep interrupting whoevers show she is on until she gets her fully prepared propoganda message stated.

12. I have to agree
I try to keep myself from becoming too optimistic. In my heart, I know I will never sleep well again because of what they've done and what I know they are capable of.

13. Same shit, different day
Karl Rove would never have the drooling circus chimp announce something as momentous as the finding of WMDs in Iraq, since he knows the drunken AWOL a-hole can't even read his own name off of a teleprompter. And even if he could, 60-80% of the viewing public wouldn't believe him anyway since the latest polls have shown that we consider Richard Nixon's rotting, maggot-festered corpse a more reliable source of information than George W. Bush.

No, this speech will be heavily laden with "evildoers", "terraists", "weapons programs", and the usual horseshit. It seems to have worked for them so far; no reason to change now. And no reason to worry.

14. November 04, prepare to have the election postponed
due to a "near miss" terrorist attack.

I'd bet a few bucks on that. The attack will be thwarted by the "heroes" of the Bush assministration. Everybody will be scared so shitless, and so relieved, that Bush will be a shoe-in

With his numbers dropping, economy circling the drain, and Iraq getting worse there is no doubt that there will some "September Surprise" coming in the speech

I confess that at times I listen to reich-wing radio (at least until I :puke: )

What I've been hearing for the past two days is alot of reich-wingers bent out of shape about the whistleass going to the UN for help in Iraq

TWO of the major "concerns" are
***UN is useless and will hamper progress
***Losing face by seeking UN help

some of the callers had alluded that they will not be voting for the whistleass because of this
