3. Armegeddon
Since Junior is resembling the Biblical profile of the Antichrist a little more every day, it may take Jesus Himself to put a stop to this bullshit.

6. Good answer!
I should've included that - the world tiring of propping up our debt and just letting us the economy dissolve.

9. Seems like it, doesn't it?
It may not be the worst scenario in the long run. The rich will be gone or not rich anymore. Since there won't be anything left to rob, the thieves will go elsewhere and we will have to rebuild from scratch, until we get too much again, then the cycle will play out another turn. Seems like this is what historically happens.

5. Either the people will rise up. ALL the people, including real Republicans
against Bush and his Freeper followers or Bush will nuke somebody and WW-III will happen as America Vs. The rest of the World. I'm really starting to fear Bush and Rummy will hurl a nuke soon. These guys are crazy.

13. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
They'll run the country as far into the ground as they can, people will notice and act "moderate". A modicum of sanity will return. Nobody will be blamed.

America will die when the oil starts to dry up. We have no hold over China or India, or Russia at this point.

15. Unfortunately we may actually see the Nuclear War we thought we avoided.
I can see these fools provoking the world against us. And we all suffer for it.

a small-yield nuke already. The invasion is a video game to him, and the only button on his controller he hasn't pushed yet...

21. Sadly, I chose Global War. I still hope this will not be the final event
that puts the BFEE to bed but am less optimistic than ever before, namely because I don't see the domestic mechanisms to remove them.

First option (internal strife) would be my next choice, followed by a very distant likelihood of some kind of media exposure of the BFEE.

23. We'll go the way of all other empires
We'll over extend ourselves militarily and drive the country bankrupt to the point where it can't afford to maintain it's Empire. We'll suffer humilitating military defeats around the world (Iraq and wherever they decide to go next) and will show ourselves to be powerless to defend real threats to our national security. Other parts of the world (China, I would guess) will emerge as more powerful economically and then soon thereafter militarily.
As you can see, we are well on our way.

25. I think economic catastrophe (probably world-wide depression)
is the most likely scenario, though this doesn't preclude global war (my vote in the poll) or civil war.
