Do we have any Air Force bases in Iraq?

Are there any Air Force personnel there? I have a nephew in the AF Security who will probably be deployed overseas in a couple of months. He's been to Saudi and Kuwait, but not Iraq.

Last year he requested to go to Iraq, or as close as he could get. He served 6 mos in the UAE.

2. Per Rumsfailed's plans for the military, we have

sorta "all purpose" bases. He's trying to break down the lines that used to separate the services.

If you're asking if, specifically, your friend might get posted in Iraq ..... anything is possible. We have Navy guys in there ......:shrug:
