Most recent photos of Fallujah genocide...
Two weeks ago someone was allowed into Fallujah by the military to help bury bodies. They were allowed to take photographs of 75 bodies, in order to show pictures to relatives so that they might be identified before they were buried.

These pictures are from a book of photos. They are being circulated publicly around small villages near Fallujah where many refugees are staying.

The man who took them was only allowed to take photos and bury bodies in one small area of Fallujah. He was not allowed to visit anywhere else. Keep in mind there are at least 1,925 other bodies that were not allowed to be seen.

Information with some of the photos is from those identified by family members already.

One of the family members who was looking for dead relatives, shared these photos which were taken from that book.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, he told of what he saw in his village during the last few weeks.

“The Americans shot every boat on the river because people were trying to escape Fallujah by the river. They shot all the sheep, any animal people owned was shot. Helicopters shot all the animals and anything that moved in all the villages surrounding Fallujah during the fighting.”

He said that none of the roads into Fallujah, or around Fallujah were passable because anyone on them was shot. “I know one family that were all killed. There are no signs on these roads that tell people not to use them-so people don’t know they aren’t supposed to use them. No signs in English or Arabic!”

1. Where, oh where is the moral outrage
that should be raised by every decent person alive?

The U.N., the Red Cross, the E.U., China, the Pope, the heads of ALL of the major religions should be speaking out against this outrage...

And our very own Christian Fundamentalists, who are striking a blow for Christ by saying "Merry Christmas" as if that will save their souls...

5. I agree, unfortunately the Falwells believe this is a holy war.
I find it just a bit suspect that their whole Rapture theory takes place on the Euphrates River.

The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates. ” 15And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number.

3. I didn't go to the link. I can't stomach any more.
Bush has, I am sure, killed far more Iraqis than Saddam ever thought about killing.

And I grew up thinking America was the "good guy."

Americans need to take America back.

From who?

Read Pogo.

6. Bush Sr. was responsible for a million dead...
...Just from that short Gulf War.
http://www.ngwrc.org/index.cfm?Page=Article&ID=1911

And that's the number given by the Western media. Iraqi doctors claim 1.5 Between the son and the dad, I'm sure the real number is just shocking.

9. Take into account the DU dust blowing around and the true death toll
will never be known.

But there are plenty of DU (Depleted Uranium) apologists around to claim that there's no problem.

To them, I say: You go breath it.

10. Yes, thats what caused most of the dead...
I found an older Iraqi website that had an article about the DU problem. It not only caused lots of deaths from cancers, it caused thousands and thousands of deformities in children. They even had a bunch of photographs that were really hard to stomach.

It really is amazing how many of these people can stay dignified and humble through all this. If it was the U.S... there sure as hell would be more than a few insurgents. The whole country would be insurgents if the same things happened here.

I will try to find that link for you right now.. you might not be able to handle the photos, but it's written by two Iraqi doctors...

13. Been there.
Sad and ignored by America.

I asked a Freeper in the office earlier today how she thought Americans would react if the roles were reversed.

She had to answer that it would be the same.

Only the "insurgents" would be called patriots.

15. Its so true... The thing is...
Americans couldnt handle it. I mean look how we reacted on 9-11. And if that was a bomb, that would have been nothing compared to what we've done to Iraq. Even just Fallujah in one night we drop 10-20 1000 and 2000 tom bombs... That would destroy most of New York City. Remember Manhattan is only a mile wide.

17. I think the vast majority of Americans are so near sighted that they
refuse to acknowlege injustices commited on others unless they are told to do so by the media.

We are one shallow bunch of self absorbed mother fuckers.

..It's pretty amazing.. most people don't want to hear it. I force them to listen because this is not something to ignore. Thats what the Germans did in the late 30's. By then, it was too late.

19. Do you not understand now
why the is so much hate for what US stand for worldwide. Do you think people around the world dont cry. Do you think we dont feel helpless. He is your President.

We do not have total news blackout. Sometimes these pictures are shown. How would you answer this question from a 10 years old girls?
"Why are these people being kill?" I learn not to allow them to see this for I cant answer that question. Do I preach hate do I need to tell a 10 years old whats right whats wrong. How? Do I bring her up hating Americans. How? So I do a cope out ..... I did a news blackout on her.

22. I've understood for a long time.
I don't rely on mainstream media for news so it isn't the first time I've seen pictures of people slaughtered by Americans. I have been grieving over the horror of this unjustified war since it began.

And I've been working to stop it. But it isn't enough when we have 20 to 200 people showing up at a protest or sending emails. Our elected officials ignore us and that works fine for them.

It's not going to end until more people join in.

18. bush is a mad dog killer.
Who is the person who decided that all males of military age should stay in Fallujah to be murdered by the US military? That person is a war criminal -- and should be tried for murder.

But the bottom line is that all of this is bush's responsibility.

This is a stain on the US flag -- the flag should drip blood.

War crimes happened and continue to happen every single day -- the officers who follow the orders are as guilty as the giggling idiot in the white house.

I couldn't even look at the large photos -- the tiny ones were way too much.

Where is the outrage of the "christians" of the US? The church going people who voted for bush, 'cause their minister told them to. How many of these sheep will look at the photos of what their leader has done -- in their name???

All of these dead people have relatives -- and that means a whole lot of people really really hate us. They don't know the election was stolen yet again. But enough people really did vote for the bastard.

dahr jamahl has been reporting for the BBC, Democracy Now, and The Guardian... He's a Lebanese American who used to write for a magazine in Alaska. He's a really nice guy... Check out his blog if you get a chance. He said on an interview with Amy Goodman that "he was much much more afraid of being killed by US troops"

23. Dahr Jamahl interviews Fallujah witnesses
Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 09:37 PM by nascarblue
In an interview with The NewStandard, Burhan Fasa’a, an Iraqi journalist who works for the popular Lebanese satellite TV station, LBC, said he witnessed US crimes up close. Burhan Fasa’a, who was in Fallujah for nine days during the most intense combat, said Americans grew easily frustrated with Iraqis who could not speak English.

"Americans did not have interpreters with them," Fasa’a said, "so they entered houses and killed people because they didn’t speak English. They entered the house where I was with 26 people, and shot people because didn’t obey orders, even just because the people couldn’t understand a word of English."

Fasa’a further speculated, "Soldiers thought the people were rejecting their orders, so they shot them. But the people just couldn’t understand them."

Fasa’a says American troops detained him. They interrogated him specifically about working for the Arab media, he said, and held him for three days. Fasa’a and other prisoners slept on the ground with no blankets. He said prisoners were made to go to the bathroom in handcuffs, using one toilet in the middle of the camp.

"During the nine days I was in Fallujah, all of the wounded women, kids and old people, none of them were evacuated," Fasa’a said. "They either suffered to death, or somehow survived."

"I watched them roll over wounded people in the street with tanks," said Kassem Mohammed Ahmed, a resident of Fallujah. "This happened so many times."

Other refugees recount similar stories. "I saw so many civilians killed there, and I saw several tanks roll over the wounded in the streets," said Aziz Abdulla, 27 years old, who fled the fighting last month. Another resident, Abu Aziz, said he also witnessed American armored vehicles crushing people he believes were alive.

Abdul Razaq Ismail, another resident who fled Fallujah, said: "I saw dead bodies on the ground and nobody could bury them because of the American snipers. The Americans were dropping some of the bodies into the Euphrates near Fallujah."

A man called Abu Hammad said he witnessed US troops throwing Iraqi bodies into the Euphrates River. Others nodded in agreement. Abu Hammed and others also said they saw Americans shooting unarmed Iraqis who waved white flags.

Believing that American and Iraqi forces were bent on killing anyone who stayed in Fallujah, Hammad said he watched people attempt to swim across the Euphrates to escape the siege. "Even then the Americans shot them with rifles from the shore," he said. "Even if some of them were holding a white flag or white clothes over their heads to show they are not fighters, they were all shot."

For the rest of the story...
