Purple Hearts - Back from Iraq (graphic photos of OUR soldiers)
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 03:53 PM by diamond14
it totally amazes me how many Americans have been brainwashed into patriotically sacrificing their children for the bush* boogie-man called 'terrorism'....reminds me of Vietnam, and the nixonian spin 'communism'....

This is a good Patriotic book to give to your reTHUGlican PRO-war relatives for the holidays....support this journalist's efforts...we must SEE more of this war to end it.....

1. kevlar protects everything but the head and limbs. The nurses
and doctors at Landstuhl, going slowly mad from the horror of this war, said that they actually get people with concrete in their brains. I could just die from this. My sister lost a leg in an accident. I know how terrible they are having it. I hate this war and the people responsible. May there really be a hell for them.

2. These photos make me cry
knowing that these men have sacrificed so much and will get so little back from Bushco-many vets like these don't get disability for months, some have become homeless--it is indeed very very sad.

3. makes me sick
To think that we could let this countinue is sickening. W is responsible for this and those who saw fit to keep him are to blame as well.

7. in addition, the Iraquis who are involved don't have any Kevlar.
They may be rebels or civilians, but their bodies come apart too.

8. Just yesterday, rummy essential said that this is NO BIG DEAL
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 04:22 PM by diamond14
at the DOD press briefing....

rummy has also previously compared this carnage to the number of car accidents in America, and a lot of other crap....the actual deaths are small, but the CARNAGE is HUGE and costly and lasts for a lifetime....more than 10,000 American soldiers with these nasty injuries....

hey....it's just like your local 7-11 shooting, or a fire or 'things that happen' in every major city...it's no big deal to rummy or bush*......COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATISM in action....

rummy speaks at the DOD press briefing, yesterday
http://www.defenselink.mil/transcripts/2004/tr20041222-secdef1861.html

It is a -- it is something that one has to put into context. And I say that in respect for the military commanders on the ground, who have multiple tasks, are challenged constantly. I mean, think of the murders that take place in every major city in the world; one can say, "Well, why aren't they stopped?" Or the fires that take place and things that happen.
