Oh Puke......A G.W Bush Branding..... |
|
Just wittnessed the welding of G.W Bush on some ship called the USS George H. W Bush. It apparently is for an aircraft.
I really feel sorry for any sailors having to sail on the ship, called the Nimitz where is plane is.....Oh what target for the enemy. :puke:

1. They no longer have to be dead to get names on things? |
|
Didn't they used to have to be dead?
I want nothing named for George except possibly a sewer.

4. The thing about being a target based on the name |
|
does suggest why the government once sensibly ruled that government buildings, ships, etc not be named for living (and in this case reviled) individuals.
I guess I would be okay with naming a toxic landfill after a member of that family! But a ship? Like calling it the Flying Dutchman or Titanic 2.
