People who said Bill Clinton was 'wagging the dog' = Traitors
"President Clinton was accused by many of using the wag-the-dog strategy when he ordered Tomahawk missiles fired on a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan and terrorist Osama bin Laden’s training camp in Afghanistan. This was supposed to be reprisal for the bombing of American embassies in Tanzania and Kenya but it is now clearer than ever that there was no justification for attacking the plant in Sudan. The claim that it was producing nerve gas was false.

Osama bin Laden’s camp in Afghanistan consisted of shacks and tents, hardly a fit target for a missile that costs nearly a million dollars per copy. These targets were chosen and approved by a very few people who had limited or incorrect information. The missiles were launched more to divert the attention of the public in the U.S. from the Clinton sex scandal than to seriously hurt possible terrorists."

This is before Bush was President. Notice how it says Clinton was doing too much against Al Qaeda.

After Bush was 'elected':

Now, we have people who say Clinton did nothing against Al Qaeda.

Who are these people? Are they Idiots, Traitors, or a combination of both?

1. "The claim that it was producing nerve gas was false. " says who
Not the CIA who took soil samples outside the plant. Not the manager of the plant who lived in a house owned by bin Laden.

It really gets me the lies these people tell against President Clinton.

3. Got you covered... right here.....
This prick was the most influential A-hole, who did the most damage, who spewed lies much to the repugs pleasure. Why isn't he in jail?? Must be above the law, both for drug abuse and treason.... I 'spose it depends on who you work for... it's pretty obvious from where I sit.

In his charcteristic demagoging manner, Rush once again verbally attacked Bill Clinton for the firing of missiles at Ussama Bin Laden in 1998. Rush insists it was total political theatre. This accusation is irresponsible, baseless and FAILS on its face.

Through the 90s, the unprecedented wave of terrorism brought by Ussama began to ramp up and take shape. The CIA, FBI, military intelligence worked to track his whereabouts. Diplomatic arrangements intended to bring about his capture were sought. When Al-Queda bombed the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzinia in 98, a far more urgent response was necessary. <read more>

4. And once again....
http://www.thefence.com/pages/Pontifications/Pontification.asp?PontificationId=281

Former National Security Advisor Samuel "Sandy" Berger's sworn testimony explodes hypocritical Republican claims that President Clinton "did nothing" against bin Laden. The Clinton Administration might have caught or killed bin Laden if the GOP hadn't helped al Qaeda. Top GOP leaders such as Sen. Phil Gramm, then-Senate Leader Trent Lott and House Majority Leader Tom DeLay blocked all of Clinton's anti-terror efforts.

When President Clinton ordered the attacks against al Qaeda, Republicans attacked Clinton. They screamed "wag the dog" and whined that terrorism wasn't a real issue. Clinton ordered CIA to kill or capture bin Laden. Clinton's people caught the WTC93 bombers and Khobar Towers bombers. They attacked Osama Bin Laden and al Qaeda in Afghanistan after their attack on African embassies, but Republicans blocked further anti-terror actions when they accused President Clinton of "wagging the dog."

6. They are buffoons.
<snip>

"Osama bin Laden’s camp in Afghanistan consisted of shacks and tents, hardly a fit target for a missile that costs nearly a million dollars per copy."

<snip>

The "tents" were not the target. Recent intelligence had placed Osama Bin Laden there. He was the target.

If Bin Laden was killed, then maybe 9-11 would not have happened, if true, then a million dollar investment to save the $200 billion spent by bush to accomplish the same thing, would be a good deal.

Those people will spin any lie out of a shred of truth to offer pseudo-truth for their arguments.

7. "Shacks and tents" ...
possibly containing the most dangerous terrorist masterminds in the world. Yep, they sure supported the war on terror with a Democrat in office, didn't they? I agree. Those who are blinded by the right to this degree are enemies of democracy. Ben Franklin warned us about the danger of an ignorant and/or stupid populace.
