although I can't say it made me feel better - or that it was a surprise.
I've decided that I'm a progressive, and until I leave the Democratic party, am a progressive Democrat and proud member of the progressive or Democratic wing of the Democratic party (as Gov. Dean would say).
It would be utter folly for them to ignore their progressive base or to take them for granted. They must not think that we will really consider leaving. In any case, if they want the millions raised outside the Beltway, sans a few corporations and corporate-CEO donors, they had better address the needs of their progressive base (the Democratic party).
