Is this too stupid ?
I am sick of marching and demonstrating about jerk offs like bush or some duffus blowhard.I think the demonstrations should be aimed at the media .By circling say Fox and being silent but looking all clean and conservative, waving flags ,being what they call the moral majority we don't let them in or out of thier fortress.
We do mass demonstations around all the corporate war machine media head quarters with squeaky clean people, they won't have thier little field day with what they make people believe we look like.To me it's worth cleaning up my act ,cheap suit & crappy haircut to hit what is really behind it all. Americans watch alot of t.v. and listen to hate radio, lets make it very hard for these bastards to get in and out of work. Sure I will march like I have since the early 60s,but we have to get effective,500,000 people show up in D.C. and they call it a few thousand whiners, show the picture of the naked guy and the funniest poster. It is time to get serious, we have to do it now or we will never fix this mess.

1. Hit 'em where it matters
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 04:38 AM by Prowess
that's the most sensible response (to a lotta B.S.) I've heard yet. If there was some way to go on tour from political institutions, to media outlets, to multinational corporations.... or hit 'em all simultaneously and at least put the buck on pause for a while!

2. March on CNN.
Screw Fox, they're a hopeless case. CNN still likes to pretend to be a real news organization. A couple of thousand people marching with "Stop The Propaganda!" signs in front of CNN might shake them up a bit.

5. mygod, no wonder bush wins elections
even though nobody votes for him! why cnn/kakaka news (aka fox) and the msn haven't been picketed long ago defies understanding.....they lied about al gore, they lied about the 2k election, they lied about bush, 911, afghanistan iraq....that was years ago! Now a massive natural disaster in asia buys them some more time! Maybe for 2 weeks the mediawhores will gloat over it, chuckling at anyone who wants to talk about anything else.....

3. You want to really shake the status quo?
The demonstrations would be better if they were coupled with worker strikes and workplace occupations. Shake the political and the economic systems at the same time. That is if you're going to D.C.

Yeah, we've got to clean ourselves up. You're not gonna be taken seriously if there's 500,000 folks who are dressed up as a bunch of freaks and hippies instead of dressing up in normal clothes and business suits.

4. I hate to dress up like a republican
I am just saying that it is time for us to start waving flags instead of signs that say " Fuck Bush " this ain't a party anymore, but you know damn well that the naked guy or the " look at me " people get the photo op that Mr. & Mrs. freeper laugh thier asses off at.To me the flag is an over exposed decoration but we should start using it because this is our country and the media better not fuck us over anymore or they better hire more body guards.

6. I agree, the Corporate Media should be the target
I say skip FOX News - everyone knows they are Republican propaganda, even their fans - why waste our time?

It's the so-called "objective, serious" corporate media - CNN, ABC, the WP & NYT - these are the ones who are being deceptive. Protest them, and put the spotlight on them.
