Has anyone heard anything from Diego Garcia since the wave? |
|
There's a British/American base there, the whole place is only like 10' above sea level. I remember reading that B-2s and B-52s flew out of there in the early days of the War on Terra, attacking Afghanistan, and that some detainees were kept there for a while. Then I stopped hearing about it at all. Always suspected that there was a secret prison there.

...in a little something called "spell-check." The headline(!) says "Deigo Garcia military base unaffected by tsunamis."
(My dad used to stop there on occasion when he flew with VQ-1 out of Guam. That's the only reason I've ever even heard of it.)

Back in the mid 70's while they were still building it. He must have brought back thousands of photos of sunsets from there plus tons of sea shells.
