The Voice of the White House . . .
latest column . . .

http://www.tbrnews.org/Archives/a1279.htm

(snip)

We have a number of faked IPs that permit government stool pigeons to send out reams of pro-Bush and pro-government propaganda to sympathetic bloggers and right-wing websites. A false vox populi but sometimes effective. Also, the psychology boys are now busy inventing weird conspiracy theories to put out to the boobery to keep their minds off of the growing and deadly disasters now beginning to loom over the heads of the Administration such as the Iraq mess and the even more serious financial crisis about to ruin all of us. (Incidentally, I took all of our savings and put them equally into Canadian dollars and the euro. I am hedging my bets here.)

These bright boys, working with the Rove people, are starting stories about weather control, a new Ice Age, the spread of SARS, Mad Cow (but only in Canada as a way of punishing them for daring to harbor US deserters), weird plots to blow up US cities and so on.

(snip)

Bush is going to privatize Social Security so his stock broker friends can reap rich rewards with the usual kickbacks for Bush and his closest aides. So to cover up these nasty doings, we can expect to see a flood of camouflaging radar chaff pouring out from down the hall from me.

I advise to you be careful of biting on any of this. People like you will be sent reams of what at first glance appears to be a red hot story. It will be completely fake and easily proven as such. Once you bite and publish, a paid pundit from the New York Times will publish a devastating refutation of it.

-more . . .

4. oh they're concerned....
there was a program on a couple years ago concerning child abuse at a daycare in N Carolina...a famous case of over eager social woekers and gullible cops etc destroying lives in some lil town. One of the lawyers involved in the case for the defense said something very interesting: anyone who knows anything about the American justice system is absolutely terrified of ever getting caught in the gears! That's because the system, once it has a person, operates with a mindless, robot like indifference to facts...and that's scary to middle class people (less so to us poorer types, as we learn from childhood that that's just how the world is)...the busheviks know what they've done, know how many crimes have been committed, know the sheer enormity of the coup d'etat that they're involved in, and they know how brutal the system will be when they're caught.....even stalin, who had more balls then the entire gop put together, was shaking with fear when the politburo visted him after the germans launched 'barbarossa' ...staLin knew his guilt and expected to be shot, and the bushworms know theirs and also expect to be shot (and they're cowards, unlike uncle joe!)

5. IMO, this describes a LOT of the infiltration on DU......

Having been here for a while, there's been a noticable change in tone....freepers are rarely infiltrating with direct attacks on us and our values....the freepers must be getting these WHITE HOUSE stool pigeon emails, and then passing along CLIPS of key phrases and paragraphs of key bush* explanations, many of which are VERY convoluted....

my thread on the FLU had THREE people spouting the EXACT same argument, with the EXACT same words....garble about (bush*) success in providing only HALF the Flu shots needed, because the there's only the old and sick dying anyways ....I thought it came out of rush limbaugh, but now, I realize, that the web board messages are coming out of a rovian WH operation....

9. true...reTHUGlicans rarely have an idea on their own...it gets poured in

through their emails, and then they don't need to THINK...just follow the orders, which I an certain are simplied for them....they get a list of chat boards that are irritating to the White House, and especially ones like DU that occasionally percolate up into the Main Stream Media (MSM)....rove doesn't like that at all....

sounds like rove is moving away from the BLAST FAXES, and into the emails as more efficient mode of propaganda distribution....rove got a bunch of computers into these brain-dead KKK homes during the GOP re-selection campaign, did a little simple training...and now rove has a whole corp of invisible brownshirts that march along lockstep, everyday destroying OUR Nation and OUR values.....it's a dangerous, insidious, and effective upgrade.....scary...

7. interesting on hedging bets
I'm becoming more and more concerned about the potential financial crisis and I was interested to see this person post about hedging bets by putting savings in canadian dollars or euros.

Anybody know how to do that?

10. a lot of people are just cashing in and withdrawing money as CASH
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 05:03 PM by diamond14
which you can do anything with...like travel to Canada and put it in their banks....or take a trip to Europe....and if you are worried about their banks, then just cash in your American dollars for Canadian dollars or Euros and keep those yourself (you can exchange money at most American banks)....the Americans who did that during the DEPRESSION, and just kept their money in cash under their matress, did REAL REAL well, compared to those who left it in the Banks, where the doors were LOCKED and they lost it all....

In 1985, when bush* brother, neil bush, collapsed the "Silverado Savings and Loan Bank" in Denver Colorado...$ BILLIONS disappeared totally, never to be returned.....I remember the horror on the faces of people near the LOCKED doors of the Bank...as they began to realize that everything, EVERYTHING that they had saved for, their retirements, their bank accounts....it was ALL GONE...STOLEN BY the bush* family and their minions...the giant Silverado Building remained locked and vacant for years, as Colorado was thrown into a massive "neil bush" recession, and home loans skyrocketed up to 16%.....about a dozen pages every Sunday in the Denver Post of repossessed houses....neil bush* was fined $ 35,000, which was paid by bush* reTHUGlican family friends...neil was also ordered not to sit on another Bank BOARD OF DIRECTORS ever again, which is why neil is now stealing money from America's schools through bush* 'leave no child behind'...neil never served a day in jail, despite being convicted of massive fraud (basically white-collar THEFT, in the MILLIONS of dollars range)...

it's been done before...the BANKS just LOCK THE DOOR...that's it...the Enron collapse 'froze' huge sums of money, including pension funds and retirement funds for many hard-working Americans....and those funds were held in BANKS, which LOCKED the DOORS (also known as 'freezing' funds....bush* good friend 'kenny boy' lay, has not been arrested, or even charged...and NOBODY who had their money stolen has ever got any returned, despite waiting more than three years now....and they probably have mortgages to pay every month, and medical bills to pay, etc....but the money is GONE...gone into the pockets of bush* friends....

so that's how it works....

and WELCOME TO DU, GARDENINGGAL !!!! we're happy you joined us...

11. thanks for the info and the welcome!
I've been lurking here since the election, but I don't post very often. I'm in Denver and I remember Neil Bush and Silverado Savings. Fortunately, I didn't have any money with them but I still recall how bad the times were.

That's why I'm thinking of taking some of my savings and putting into canadian dollars or euros. I need to do a little more investigating before I'm okay with it, just seems like it may be a bigger risk not to do it at this point.
