Is the right protraying the handicapped and the disabled as the new |
|
"welfare queens"? I talked to a co-worker at the armory a few weeks ago. The guy seems to be the ultimate freeper. He said something about the disabled suing the state to have social security match some sort of worker's compensation program. Is the "Right" villainizing the handicapped and the disabled now?

1. Well, lets not generalize too braodly |
|
Its true that the right hates the handicapped and minorities.
But they are tolerant of anyone in this group as long as they are very rich.
Its the disabled and minorities that live in poverty that really piss off the right.

8. The NAZI's just killed them so it is not a surprise |
|
that pukes would want to not have to deal with helping them and skapegoating them since the Nazi's truly are their heros.

2. I have no idea havent heard about this |
|
But I really hate when the right or anyone does this. "Oh they are lazy blah blah" I would love to see these jerks experience poverty. They should be helped by the government, thats what societies do they help the needy. Also I hate to bring up my candiate but he knows what poverty is like. Just saying those who live on welfare do not have it easy. Lazy coming from the words of a guy or gal who owns a couple of houses, a yacht perhaps, and a personalized plane maybe too is just plain despicable. Anyways I would love that as a reality show, right wing jerks get to see what poverty is like.

I was talking about what the freeper was spewing out. I'll have to ask him where he heard it. I was assuming that he heard it come from Rush Limbaugh.

5. as more badly damaged Veterans come out of their wars.... |
|
the radical 'cheap labor conservatives' are looking ahead to stop any payments for OUR Veterans...
and these same 'cheap labor conservatives' actually do HATE people with disabilities and handicaps...
Two typical reTHUGlican reasons:
1. for those who prey on the workers of America...people with disabilities and handicaps often are created by these reTHUGlicans, and that takes away from their bottom lines if they have to pay for their own failure to abide by environmental and OSHA regulations... ...so their plans to cut health insurance, OSHA and environmental regulations are all just to KILL those with disabilities and handicaps (that follows the hitler program too)....
2. the GREAT accomplishments of people with disabilities and handicaps makes HEALTHY people ashamed...these 'reTHUGlicans' can't stand it when someone overcomes so many obstacles and makes them look like the 'little' minded people that they are...look what they did to Max Cleland...they don't want to be around anyone that makes them look small....(especially people like the shrub, who never had to work a day in his life, and inherited all his money from working people to death at Auschwitz...wonder how many disabilities and handicaps were generated by grandpa prescott bush's illegal support of hitler ????)...

9. noticed a few months ago |
|
there were articles in the New York Times about the high cost of paying for Social Security Disability. They were obviously trial balloons prepared by right-wing think tanks. The articles said that many on social security disability were really just not willing to keep up with a changing job market - and more character assassination.
You better believe they are taking aim at the sick and disabled.

10. a changing job market or a sucky job market? |
|
Jobs are hard to come by the last time that I checked. I live in NYC, I don't see many subway stations that are accessible to people with wheelchairs.
