Aid for Victims: Here's another reason for the world to hate us....

The average payout to a victim of the 9-11 attacks was about $2,000,000

http://www.usdoj.gov/victimcompensation/payments_deceased.html

with nearly 3,000 dead that still means aid amounting to six billion dollars, paid in the greater proportion to the survivors of the wealthy that worked in the world trade center, and the better off than most that served as their staff. The help, many without any real claim to citizenship, probably got screwed.

The USA is currently on line as a GOVERNMENT to give 15 million and guarantee loans for another 20 million. (12/28/04)

As an Angry foot note:

My American household directly gave $510 through a proven charity to aid in the region; and HOW DARE THEY (the Bush administration) try to take any credit for that!?!?

1. He is behaving true to form.
We may be outraged but we shouldn't be surprised.
