Tweety is OVER
This interview with Arnold is his swan song.

Both of them are pathetic, not believable.

Tweety is developing Imus syndrome - this old leather bag of a face, that hangs on his skull.

They couldn't quite interact properly - like they were stumbling over eachother.

2. They're reading a script written by Rove, and no matter how hard they try
Edited on Sat Sep-06-03 03:59 PM by AP
they just can't fake conviction to something that has so little logical coherence.

They're taking their brand of fascism way beyond its limits. It's all going to crash down upon itself very soon, I hope.

4. I used to be able to watch Hardball
Now I just can't stomach Tweety any more. He's a fraud and B*sh Whore. And he hasn't been making any sense lately and seems to be limiting his political analysis to comments about "swagger" and physical attributes. Ugh.

3. Tweety used to try to pretend to be "independent" but lately
Edited on Sat Sep-06-03 04:28 PM by barbaraann
he's given up all pretense and attacks and ridicules people on the left while licking the boots of rightwing guests.

I can't help but watch sometimes because he does have some interesting guests.

6. Tweety pretended to be independent before...
because nothing was a stake. He could play like he was anti-war, etc., when no elections were around the corner. Now that a significant election is about to occur in California, his true Republican, Bush-loving colors are flying.

Remember 2000 and how he bashed Gore? Remember how he mellowed out after he helped ensure the right-wing stole the election? He's showing the same pattern now. He is truly scum.

13. Yup.
And I think he got a little out of control in his attack on Dennis Kucinich. That had to be the worst thing he has ever done.

7. why do you think tweety wouldn't become
like all his fellow mulitmillionaire media whores? He does espouse his own position, which is that of an isolated multimillionaire with tons of money in the stock market.

8. They looked like utter dolts!
Tweety should realize it's a bad idea to stand sideways in front of a camera. I was spellbound looking at his mouth sagging agape as he gibbered to Arnold.

You are absolutely right. It was one of the oddest moments in tv history. Absolutely NOTHING WAS GOING ON, MENTALLY inside Arnold's dome.

Wow!

That's exactly what I saw AND thought!! and his made up orange skin liked like a baseball glove on a hand

And Arnolds face was shining like a polished mirror. I was trying to make out the camera man reflected in his cheek.

It was pretty sad and amazing to see these guys with their pants down like that. I guess the editor was already in the bathroom puking, and let that segment slip by.

11. Tweety generated 17% of the negative stories about Gore.
That is quite a figure considering how many mediawhores were involved in 2000.

Now Tweety trashes Kerry and pumps up Dean.

16. tweety....
...has a contract to be in charge IN CHARGE of MSNBC's election coverage through 2006. Yes, that's right. Through 2006.

So we'd might as well get used to the fact that he has enormous influence.
