15. Reminds of trial lawyers in heat. |
|
During an emotionally charged trial, one lawyer will inevitably put something out to the jury that's "improper" like calling his adversary a "scumbag" or talk like it's been established that the defendant is guilty of murder. The other lawyer will object, the judge will sustain the objection, but hey, it's out there. The jury heard it, notwithstanding the judge's admonition not to use it during deliberations. Mission accomplished: you got your message out.

I have a friend in PA who says she actually saw 93 go over her house with 2 smaller planes chasing it on 9/11.

9. Not too many passenger jets fly over her house at very low altitude.... |

being chased by small planes. At least not on a regular daily basis.

6. first thing i thought was |
|
he is going to say he is an old man. tee hee. you know my answer to that would be "should we really have this OLD MAN running our war?
for heavens sake was a nut case. what he said was that the terrorist shot down the plane. weird. but then again he has himself convinced of what happened that day. guess his brain was having a hard day. being nice to the troops is "hard work". taxing.
there were so many slips that no one in the media every followed up on. doubt they will ever follow up on this one. the fearless leader in chief had a vision for goodness sake. he was the only one in the country who saw the first plane hit the WTC on TV. go figure.

7. why ordered shot down? |
|
A consensus seems to be emerging, but raises another question, why order it shot down and then lie?
Because the passenger revolt is a better story?
Because the passenger revolt was a success and they didn't want people to find out what happened in that plane?
Wouldn't it make them look like they weren't totally asleep at the switch that day, so they would want that story out there?

11. I always understood that Cheney ordered it shot down |
|
Because it was still in the sky after all the other planes were grounded and didn't respond back. It was shot by an F-16 over a field. I really can't blame the VP for this if it is true, it was a huge bomb ready to cause major damage somewhere! I just wish they would tell the truth. They probably don't want the families of the plane victims to sue....

Which I listened to on Pacifica radio.
But they claimed that, though Cheney ordered it, the order never 'went through' in time.

13. He said TERRORISTS shot it down...not us. |

Since we can safely assume that didn't happen, I think the whole issue is sort of silly. He mispoke, IMHO.

Though, I certainly shudder at the thought our own planes shooting down Flight 93. I happen to agree with the reason: Based on what happened to the other flights on 9/11, their lives were already on the wrong side of the balance sheet. Sometimes you have to make very hard decisions.
How many would have died if that flight made it to DC?

the media to get their message accross, when the heat is on. junior sure caught a fast dummy. What could the Pentagon say, other than what they did say?
Quite obvious who's running the show. Donald Trump & junior are two peas in a pot.
