Bush says we will prevail over this destruction,
We will prevail. The war president is an embarrassment. He also said that we will create a coalition for relief. The tsunami hates freedom.

18. My Sentiments Exactly
"Prevail Over The Destruction". Ummmmmm!

Li'l Georgie, the destruction has ALREADY PREVAILED otherwise you wouldn't be talking about it.

You can rebuild. You can make it even better than before. But, you can't prevail over an event that has already taken place in the past tense.

Dumbass.
The Professor

7. Why does he phrase everything in the terms of WAR?
Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 09:55 AM by PA Democrat
"PREVAIL" over destruction? What does that mean? How "compassionate" of Bush to LOAN the victims money for relief!

Why isn't the disgusting lazy ass media discussing the fact that the MAJORITY of aid offered by Bush is in the form of a line of credit? Will he require the countries who accept that loan to privatize all of their country's assets?

15. I believe they are calling it a line of credit
which would mean it's a loan.

And if they don't pay up, the lord savior George W Bush will make sure there is hell to pay.

17. That explains why India said "No thanks"
I was a little startled to see India saying that it had enough resources to deal with this calamity. Why wouldn't you take every last ounce of help you could get? But to find out that there are heavy-duty strings attached to the aid offer, it's not so startling.
