VERY disturbing video of Tsunami
Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 02:48 PM by femme.democratique
Shows an up-close ground level view of people being swept away. Chills are running up and down my spine. Did I mention that * is a fucking sick excuse for a president?

Edit: It may take a while for it to load but it will take your breath away.

4. Keep trying its really f'ed up...two old dudes were hanging on...
...to some sort of metal fence, you could see they thought they could fight the current, then you see their hands being ripped away and they're carried along like stuffed animals.

5. Didn't play for me at first, but
I tried again and it worked. It's the clip that's being shown on MSNBC. I first saw it on KO last night. And it is unbelieveable.

7. The sound of shattering glass and the cracks as the building
started to fail, along with the speed at which all the junk in the water was being thrown at people was appalling.

It will be a miracle if there were only 100,000 deaths.

14. This is horrifying. Those people should not have been on the beach!
I know that it's difficult to evacuate people, but they should have been warned off the beach at the very least.

It's horrifying to watch a video of people being drowned.

17. my sister just told me she has a recurring nightmare that looks a LOT
like this video. She's in a room with lots of big windows or glass walls, and the water just keeps on rising.

Jesus fucking God, those people.

like they are in slow motion...almost casual as the water quickly rises. No time to even work up some adrenaline.

22. Indeed
You see the one guy who was going to help the elderly couple, but they were swept away before he could get to them. I think at that point the guy went into shock because he just casually moved closer to the building the cameraman was in. I suppose they both survived since we're viewing this video. It's a blessing the elderly man survived but so sad his wife probably didn't.
