Speaking of Ed. Ed is claiming that Democrats will save this nation? From what Ed? Right now the Democrats are saving this nation from the Democrats, and they cant save themselves from themselves. This is the party that has been hijacked by the minutia of the fringe groups and have clearly lost the Big Ass Picture.

As far as the war on Islam goes.... and lets face it that is what we are fighting... there are deterrents which could be exercised. Unfortunately the liberals in this country do not have the stomach for it. The Cold war was won based upon the theory of mutual destruction. The same deterrent could be applied to the war on islamic terrorists. That is to clearly, and publicly state " if the United states is attacked by terrorists, we will immediately and without investigation send a special delivery of thermonuclear devices to the cities of Cairo, Tehran, Pyongyang, Islamabad, Mecca, Medina, Najaf, Damascus and Gaza City". I am sure there are other cities that might also get on the list. It is the promise of a clear, decisive, overwhelming counterattack that will cause the islamic world to take responsibility for itself on the international stage. It is easy to breed and export terror when the nation will not be held responsible.

What we are doing now is extremely liberal in nature. We are holding the gun responsible for the shooting, instead of holding the shooter. No matter how many terrorists we kill, the culture that raises terrorists still exists. If we put the very underpinnings of that culture on notice of destruction, we might notice a change in that culture.

I am not anti-islam. Your religion is your choice...and they are all pretty much the same. However, if you cower and fight from your temples or mosques, standby to have them blown to pieces...either one by one... or all at once under the blast of a 6 megaton hydrogen bomb.

Hell.... imagine the amount of time, money, and blood we would save? Our nukes were paid for in the 80's, and we would not risk one American soldier's life in the process.

People like that don't realize that dropping a nuke has massive environmental and ethical problems. A nuclear weapon is the exact opposite of a "precision bomb". They are made to kill massive amounts of innocents and inflict terrible morale harm. Period.
On top of that, the difference between the cold war and this war is that during the cold war we had a known enemy, with a known position. An enemy that couldn't just pack up and move to less radioactive climes. Terrorists don't give a damn if we nuke one of their cities. It will only prove that they are right.
