Do you like flying saucer talk radio? Art Bell voted for JK, he said. |
|
Sometimes I tune in and find the discussion engrossing. There certainly are many comments made on the Art Bell show that question this administration. If there are no liberal shows to listen to, I'd choose Bell's brand of flying saucer talk.
I don't listen to it that much, but I did catch Art Bell saying he voted for Kerry in the last election. When they are not talking about UFOs they talk about government conspiracy.
However, I don't like Art Bell's assistant, George Noory, because I think he is a Republican. When some caller said something about Bush that was not flattering, Noory piped in with something like, "What you are saying is alleged, the audience needs to know that."
PS I am not a conspiracy theorist or UFO believer. But if Art Bell voted for John Kerry, he's OK in my book.

2. Those that think different |
|
Tend to be able to sympathise with others that think different as well. Which is why you will find the left stocked full with a miriad of individuals from Chomsky to Chapra.
We get the visionaries and those seeing things. The left is not a comfortable place for those that like everyone else to think just like themself.

4. I do, because it's "no holds barred" |

Shows like that are willing to explore anything seriously. I admire the openness of mind it takes to do that. I find that most people in this country have unbelievably strong prenotions that they can't really deal with reality. No one's idea of how the world works is exactly right, but for some people anything that doesn't fit, no matter how much evidence or proof there is for it, just can't accept it. Having lived in 2 other countries, I feel safe to say that it's not like that everywhere else.
Also, some of it's just fun sci-fi, but some of the stuff they come out with on shows like that are real. I just read another post that was talking about marines doing a practice attack on Toledo...stuff like that has been on some of these shows for years. I've actually seen video of it.
It's kind of like this...all sorts of crazy stuff hits there...some of it turns out to be plausible and then hits places like DU years later...then some of that hits the MSM in 3-50 years. :)

6. I listen every night but |

George Noory sucks. There I said it. Almost as bad an interviewer as Larry King. He has his momements but he just asks some God awful stupid questions sometimes. Even for a tin foil hat show.
